Covid-19 best practice : The entire Agence Savoielac team will be instructed on Covid-19 best practice in order to assure that all possible measures are put in place to assure your safety (i.e. mandatory wearing of masks, frequent and through hand cleaning, social distancing etc.)

Cleaning and treatment of our villas / chalets / apartments : All of our locations are deep cleaned and disinfected before each arrival of new guests. All linen in our locations is washed at 60°C and is disinfected through a professional laundry process. 

Agence Savoielac cancellation policy

Savoielac agency undertakes, for French and European residents, to refund your rental in the event of total lockdown OR a ban on travel making it impossible for you to come to the property following French government directives.

Cancellation conditions for the optional ADAR insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out our optional ADAR insurance when making your booking with us. ADAR insurance will reimburse you (see conditions below) in the case of illness contracted by one or more of your party. This takes into account proof of a positive PCR or rapid swab test.

I have taken a Covid-19 test and it has been returned as positive, am I covered?

Insurer’s response: Yes, whether it is the entire family going on the trip or just one individual out of the party, you will be covered. In the case that there are two separate groups (families, couples etc.) a pro rata will be made and only the group affected by the illness will be reimbursed.

In the case of an epidemic, will I be covered in the case of cancellation due to travel restrictions or a total lockdown put in place by the government?

Insurer’s response : No. These unprecedented events are neither insurable nor insured. We will therefore not be able to intervene. The exceptional extent of the disruptions which result from restrictive or containment measures taken by governing authorities should be enough to justify a request for a postponement of the rental dates. In this case it would be best to contact your landlord via your rental agency. If your lessor agrees to change the rental dates, we will change the dates of your insurance coverage. Please keep us updated with any changed you make to your rental contract with your full insurance reference.

I would like to cancel my trip because I have been contacted by contact tracing and been asked to self-isolate, am I covered?

Insurer’s response: Yes.

I need to cancel my trip as I have not been allowed to board my train/plane after my temperature was taken, am I covered?

Insurer’s response: Yes.

One of my family members outside of the group who are booked onto the holiday has contracted Covid-19, am I covered in the case of cancellation?

Insurer’s response: No, only those who are booked onto the holiday are covered by our insurance policy should they contract Covid-19.

I have contracted Covid-19 during my trip and now I must interrupt my stay, am I covered?

Insurer’s response: Yes, as this is an interruption of your stay, we will refund you for the days of the trip which you can no longer be there for.
